About the Role: This is a fantastic chance to join a well-established local firm that has experienced significant growth in recent years. As a Senior Tax Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice on tax matters and strategic tax planning.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and submitting personal and capital gains tax returns, along with CGT 60-day reporting.
  • Managing workflow efficiently while adhering to tax deadlines.
  • Assisting in the training and development of junior staff members.
  • Staying informed about the latest tax news and regulatory changes.
  • Experience in reviewing and computing Inheritance Tax (IHT), Trusts, and Corporation Tax is advantageous but not mandatory.

Qualifications: To qualify for the Senior Tax Consultant position, candidates should be CTA qualified or at least part qualified, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a UK accountancy practice.

Compensation: A competitive salary of up to £45,000 is available, commensurate with experience. The benefits package includes pension contributions, study support if needed, opportunities for career advancement, and generous holiday entitlements.
