About the Role:

The 1st Connection is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Manager to lead our in-house software project and team. As a key member of our Technology team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of our software products and ensuring they meet key milestones on time and align with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Develop the underlying architecture for all software products and development, manage and oversee multiple software projects, and develop software solutions by studying information needs and conferring with users.
  • Team Development: Line manage a team of 6, foster an environment of continuous personal and professional learning, and serve as a technical mentor and adviser to the team and across the organization.
  • Project Management: Develop and implement systems for software automation, continuous integration, and deployment, and ensure ongoing compliance with legal, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Deputize for the CTO when required, collaborate closely with the CTO and the Head of IT to manage day-to-day operations, and guide cross-functional teams through complex projects and organizational changes.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical leadership and project management skills
  • Experience in C#,.NET, and source control
  • Ability to develop and implement software solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
