Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Automated Test Engineer to join our team at Optix Software Ltd.

As a hybrid role, your day-to-day tasks will vary depending on the project's requirements. You will be required to work as a manual tester to support project deadlines, as well as being a key part of the Automation team, creating and developing automated tests and delivering regression suites to support our continuous integration workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using test automation frameworks, ideally Cypress or Playwright
  • Work with JavaScript frameworks and libraries, ideally React, but exposure to other frameworks such as Angular or VueJS is also beneficial
  • Experience with workflow management software, such as TFS, JIRA, or Azure DevOps
  • Strong manual testing experience in Web, Mobile, and API testing
  • Functional, integration, and regression testing
  • Solid understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle
  • Exposure to maintaining automation test scripts
  • Working with databases to query and verify data, i.e. SQL
  • Interest or experience in performance testing and other non-functional testing activities
