Job Title: Electrical Engineer

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join the team located in Mansfield.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works to building plant, equipment and systems in accordance with agreed service levels, undertaking small installation works and responding to site engineering emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure routine maintenance is carried out to all electrical and mechanical systems to meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements.
  2. Carry out reactive repairs on all systems as required, calling relevant sub-contractors as necessary.
  3. Carry out all PPM maintenance as per the instruction set provided within Concept.
  4. Liaise with sub-contractors as required for repairs/quotations, monitoring performance of sub-contractor personnel.
  5. Sign off completed PPM and reactive tasks via your PDA in line with KPMG policies and procedures in a timely manner.
  6. Ensure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required.
  7. To be involved in call-out rota if applicable.
  8. Liaise and work with other trade engineers to ensure electrical issues on all systems are attended to and resolved within SLA agreements.
Requirements:

A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills. Recognized Electrical Qualification is also required, including C&G 17th Edition in Electrical Installations and C&G Test and Inspection. Good knowledge of various building electrical systems and working to Planned Preventative Maintenance Regimes is also necessary.

Experience of electrical systems management and paperwork is also required. The successful candidate must be reliable and able to work without supervision. Ability to work within a call-out rota, shifts within the contract set up, and be available for weekend and out-of-hours working as required.
