**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Medical Specialist to join our team at Humankind Charity. As an Addiction Treatment Doctor, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality clinical care to individuals struggling with addiction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage the clinical needs of patients with addiction, ensuring comprehensive care that addresses both physical and psychological aspects.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that incorporate best practices and organizational policies, promoting positive outcomes and recovery.
  • Conduct general healthcare services, including blood-borne virus testing, phlebotomy, health promotion, and harm reduction interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support to patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in addiction treatment and management, with a strong background in general practice or psychiatry.
  • Excellent clinical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
  • Driving license and access to a vehicle (preferred but not essential).
