Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Spinner Medical Recruitment. As a key member of our mental health service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to older adults in acute inpatient and community settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical care to older adults in inpatient and community settings
- Lead and manage a team of mental health professionals to deliver high-quality care
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in medical leadership and governance activities to shape mental health services
Requirements
- FRANZCP or equivalent qualification
- Experience in older age psychiatry in inpatient and community settings
- Expertise in person-centered and trauma-informed care
- Strong leadership and collaborative skills
- Experience in quality improvement and clinical governance
- Teaching and supervision experience
- Valid driving license
