Job Details

This is a full-time teaching position, Monday to Friday, consisting of 37.5 hours per week. The role is temporary until the end of the academic year, with a start date after the Easter term break.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support individual development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and expertise, contributing to a positive and supportive school culture.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum programs, ensuring alignment with educational standards and goals.
Requirements
  • Hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT).
  • Have a good understanding of the Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 curriculum.
  • Be enthusiastic, passionate, and committed to providing a safe and healthy learning environment.
  • Have a passion for working with children, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment, following safeguarding procedures and promoting a positive school culture.
