Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving our advertising van along a predetermined route in central London and ensuring it is parked safely at a designated location within the same area each night. This role requires punctuality, professionalism, and familiarity with central London.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the advertising van along a predetermined route in central London.
- Ensure the van is parked at a designated location within central London every night.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure the van is in good working condition.
- Report any maintenance issues to the marketing manager promptly.
- Ensure the van is clean and presentable at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Keep accurate records of daily mileage and routes taken.
- Communicate effectively with the team regarding any changes or issues encountered during the route.
Requirements
- Valid UK driving license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience driving in central London is highly desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of central London streets and traffic patterns.
- Ability to navigate using GPS and follow predefined routes.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to travel to and from the vehicle location daily.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday 8:30am – 6:30pm
