Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team at Willis Lease Finance Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and compliant maintenance of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as Certifying and Support Staff, exercising privileges in accordance with individual authorization documents.
  • Supervise base maintenance activities, allocating work and ensuring satisfactory completion and certification of all work required by contracting operators/customers.
  • Ensure compliance with the organization's procedures and standards, interacting with Quality Auditors to facilitate unhindered quality function performance.
  • Implement the Quality Policy and address Human Factor issues, working in and maintaining facilities to a high standard.
  • Perform maintenance strictly following approved maintenance data, recording maintenance in a clear and unambiguous manner.
  • Under the direction of the respective Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO), minimize deferred defects and monitor rectification progress.
  • Attend required training, including aircraft type training, to maintain additional type coverage.
  • Classify, segregate, and store components, parts, materials, tools, and equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Ensure tooling and equipment are used following relevant instructions and organization procedures, maintaining tooling and equipment as directed by the Designated Airworthiness Maintenance (DAM).
  • Perform reasonable duties associated with the upkeep of the line station and maintenance facility as directed by the DAM.
  • Report problems and suggest improvements to the Director, Quality Aircraft.
  • Maintain and uphold a Just Culture in the approved maintenance organization.
  • Submit internal occurrence reports to the Director, Quality Aircraft Maintenance when required.
  • Prepare and formally hand work packages to maintenance personnel as applicable, reviewing completed work packages and identifying errors or omissions.
  • Archive electronic copies of completed work packages and send original documentation to the relevant CAMO.
  • Support and promote a positive safety learning culture through occurrence reporting and adopting continuous improvement and human factors principles.
Requirements
  • UK CAA/EASA Part 66 License (B1, B2 & C).
  • Supervisory experience running base maintenance checks.
  • Current type ratings on one or more of the following types: Embraer 135/145, Boeing 737NG, ATR 42/72, Airbus A320 CEO.
  • Knowledge of Part M, Part 145, Part 66 & Part 147.
  • HF Qualified.
  • EWIS Qualified.
  • SFAR88 Qualified.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally in the English language.
  • Ability to work IAW-approved maintenance data.
