We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Robert Walters. As a Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting various financial accounting tasks, including the preparation and filing of Statutory Financial Statements, Corporation tax returns, and VAT returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file Statutory Financial Statements, Corporation tax returns, and VAT returns.
  • Manage the fixed asset verification process.
  • Participate in Month End Close (MEC) and Year End Close tasks.
  • Liaise with HUB contacts as necessary.
  • Undertake specific tasks within the wider group of companies as required.
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant - ACA or ACCA.
  • Good understanding of Corporation Tax, Statutory Accounting & VAT.
  • Proficient Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to convey technical accounting and taxation issues in straightforward language.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of SAP is a bonus.
  • Previous audit experience would be useful.
