Nursery Room Leader - Level 3

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Willing Care. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for early years education and a strong commitment to creating a nurturing environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee a group of infants, prioritizing their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and schedules to encourage learning and growth within our play-based curriculum.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to foster a supportive and inclusive nursery community.
  • Supervise and support the professional growth of nursery room staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's development and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.
  • Ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe, and compliant with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in early years.
  • Demonstrated expertise in working with infants in a nursery environment.
  • Sound understanding of child development and early education principles.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in team leadership, mentorship, and support.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safeguarding practices.
