Automotive Finisher

GI Group is actively seeking a skilled Automotive Finisher for a temporary, ongoing role.

The position offers the following shift schedule:

• 08:00 - 17:00
• Monday to Friday
• 1 in 4 Saturdays may be required

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Preparing and applying finishes to vehicle panels, which includes cleaning, masking, and painting.
• Ensuring the quality of painted surfaces is free from defects.
• Providing assistance in various areas of the workshop as needed.
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members in their development.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within an automotive bodyshop.
• A valid UK Driving Licence held for at least 2 years.
• A willingness to assist and guide junior cosmetic technicians.
• A strong passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence (excluding DR/DD/BA offences).

• Weekly pay
• Competitive hourly rate of £18.00
• 1-hour break during shifts
