About the Role: We're seeking a motivated individual with experience in purchase ledger/accounts payable to join our dynamic Accounts team at Options Resourcing Ltd. You'll ensure accurate invoice processing, account reconciliation, and meet departmental deadlines. This is a rewarding role within a highly regarded team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Process and prepare invoices for payment, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Manage and resolve supplier account queries, providing excellent customer service.
  • Reconcile supplier statements monthly, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update supplier accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, adhering to all relevant laws and guidelines.
  • Support team efforts to keep accounts accurate and up-to-date, contributing to the team's success.

**Requirements:**

  • GCSEs A-C in relevant subjects.
  • Proven purchase ledger experience, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

**Preferred:**

  • Experience in the construction/civil engineering sector, with knowledge of industry-specific accounting requirements.
