About the Role:

Mansell Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team in an electronics manufacturing company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for building electromechanical sub-assemblies, printed circuit boards, and final products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret bills of materials and drawings to ensure accurate production.
  • Clean and pack products using COSHH substances, adhering to safety protocols and wearing provided PPE.
  • Raise non-compliance, rework records, stores requisitions, and build documentation changes as required.
  • Ensure familiarity with quality management principles, including static handling precautions and workmanship standards.
  • Maintain accurate stock control and stock levels, replenishing and placing Kanban orders as necessary.
  • Contribute to housekeeping and working practices, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Adhere to the Company's Quality ISO9001 and ISO14001 Environmental Management system requirements, as well as the Health and Safety Management System.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve departmental objectives, focusing on continuous improvement of product quality and processes.

Requirements:

  • Previous electromechanical assembly experience and soldering skills are desirable.
  • Understanding of mechanical assembly procedures and processes.
  • Appreciation of modern manufacturing techniques.
  • Good communication skills and a hands-on approach.
  • IPC standard certifications are ideal.
