About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team at Nisbets. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute preventative maintenance tasks, including inspections and repairs, to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inventory management and spare parts ordering.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure all work is completed in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with external contractors, reviewing risk assessments and method statements, and supervising their work.
  • Manage and assign maintenance tasks, updating logs and records as necessary.
