About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at a well-established Nursing Home in Pontypridd. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with manual handling equipment and implement care and treatment plans
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to residents, enhancing their quality of life
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care
Requirements
  • Experience in healthcare, preferably in a care or nursing setting
  • Manual handling equipment experience in a live environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
