The Role
The incoming Senior Project Manager will join a dynamic consultancy with 7 offices across the UK and over 30 globally. This highly regarded firm operates in a wide variety of sectors, including Affordable Housing, Government, Education, Health, Office, Hospitality, Private Residential, and Sport on projects from £5m - £110m, providing a stimulating and diverse environment for professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Steer projects to successful completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.
- Develop and implement project plans, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets and constraints.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a strong track record in construction projects.
- Previous Project Management experience with a UK construction consultancy.
- Membership in a construction-related professional body (RICS, CIOB, CIBSE, etc.) is desirable.
- A construction-related degree qualification is beneficial.
- A successful track record leading construction projects from inception to completion, confident across all RIBA stages.
- A proactive approach, ready to handle a range of tasks from high-level management to practical, day-to-day activities.
