Executive Chef

NRL Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Hartlepool Nuclear Power Station. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for personnel on site, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and hygiene are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Meal Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, to meet the dietary needs of personnel on site.
- Food Quality and Hygiene: Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and hygiene, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Kitchen Operations: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and efficient service delivery.
- Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service.
- Culinary Knowledge: Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures, with the ability to adapt to changing menu requirements.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of kitchen staff.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a strong problem-solving approach to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Certifications: Relevant culinary qualifications, such as a culinary degree or certification, are desirable.
