The role of a Service Engineer at ACS Performance is a challenging and varied position that requires a high level of technical expertise and problem-solving skills. On a daily basis, you will be responding to service calls, completing fault finding and diagnosis on site, regular maintenance of automatic pedestrian doors, and participating in new system installations and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to service calls as directed by the ACS Performance planning team.
- Fault finding and remedy faults within our customer service level agreements.
- Maintenance, service, and repair of automatic pedestrian doors.
- Control of spare parts and inventory management.
- Carry out PPM (planned preventative maintenance) to ensure optimal system performance.
- Participate in new system installations and upgrades to ensure seamless integration.
- Carry out company documentation efficiently and on time where required.
- Promote the cross-sale of ACS Performance products and services where possible.
- Be flexible and travel occasionally at short notice to respond to urgent requests or extend hours to fix problems.
