About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our team at a premium dealership in Basingstoke. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults, liaising with customers on repairs, and ensuring high workshop housekeeping standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostics and Repairs: Use your technical expertise to diagnose and repair vehicle faults, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard.
  • Customer Liaison: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their repair needs and provide excellent customer service.
  • Workshop Management: Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment, ensuring that all tools and equipment are in good working order.
  • Health Checks and Servicing: Conduct regular health checks on vehicles and complete servicing tasks to the highest standard.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold a relevant NVQ, BTEC, or City and Guilds qualification in a mechanical or automotive discipline.
  • Skills and Experience: Have a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and diagnostics, with experience of working in a fast-paced workshop environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Be enthusiastic, energetic, and able to work well under pressure.
