About Oaklands Health Centre
We are a dynamic and patient-focused healthcare provider seeking a motivated and enthusiastic General Practitioner to join our successful team for 4-6 sessions per week.
Our practice is a well-established GMS practice in the historic town of Hythe, serving a population of approximately 12,000 patients. We are an ambitious and innovative organisation that provides primary healthcare services.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to our practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care while complying with the GMS contract.
The post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, and maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
About the Role
We are the lead practice for our Primary Care Network, serving a population of approximately 48,000 people. Our patients have access to a range of services, including Pharmacists, Social Prescribers, First Contact Physiotherapists, Mental Health Practitioners, and an Occupational Therapist.
We actively embrace new technology and efficient ways of working to ensure the highest level of care for our patients. We offer multi-modal consultations, online appointment booking, and a strong team spirit.
