Position Overview

Are you a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Primary Educator seeking a new opportunity?

Winner Education is on the lookout for a passionate SEN Primary Educator to join a leading institution that specializes in providing tailored educational experiences for students with special needs. This is a full-time, permanent role aimed at fostering an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

COMPENSATION: Competitive salary up to £34,000

WORKING HOURS: Full-time (Monday – Friday), 9am-3pm, during school terms

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement a collaborative and multi-faceted approach to education, ensuring a focus on health, safety, and the well-being of students.
  • Engage with students in small groups or on an individual basis across various learning environments.
  • Adhere to the organization's policies and procedures, promoting equal opportunities and diversity.
  • Act as an advocate for students and their families, ensuring their voices are heard in the educational process.
  • Encourage active participation from students and families in shaping their educational journey.
  • Oversee the assessment, planning, and delivery of tailored learning programs, including lesson plans and curriculum development.
  • Collaborate with subject leads to enhance educational resources and strategies.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all learners, reporting any incidents or risks appropriately.
  • Assist in the collection and organization of student information, including profiles and risk assessments, to meet individual needs.
  • Support the completion of assessments and progress reports for various educational stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the curriculum by collaborating with subject leads and participating in improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of safeguarding practices and commitment to student safety.
  • Flexibility and creativity in teaching methods.
  • A minimum of two years' experience working with SEN students in an educational context.
  • Proven ability to create effective resources tailored to the needs of students with additional requirements.
  • Possession of relevant qualified teacher status.
  • A genuine passion for fostering positive educational outcomes for all students.
