Field-Based Electrical Maintenance Technician - Facilities Management Provider - Commercial Sector

We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity with a well-established facilities management provider. This role is designed for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems across various commercial environments. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in electrical maintenance within commercial or property settings. Responsibilities will include both planned and reactive electrical maintenance tasks, making this a rewarding local position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing lighting maintenance including small installations, fault diagnosis, lamp replacements, ballast changes, control panel work, and power distribution tasks
  • Managing emergency lighting systems
  • Executing small works such as installing new sockets, lights, and circuits
  • Assisting with mechanical maintenance duties on-site
  • Conducting both reactive and planned maintenance activities
Working Hours

Monday to Friday (40-hour work week)

08:00 am to 17:00 pm

Candidate Requirements
  • Must hold relevant electrical qualifications and be able to provide certification documentation
  • City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 is essential
  • City & Guilds Level 3 is preferred
  • 17th or 18th Edition certification is required for electrical bias
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial or property maintenance
  • Installation experience is necessary
  • Strong customer service skills are essential
  • Willingness to cover extensive areas
  • Dependable, diligent, and trustworthy work ethic
