Job Title: 1:1 Outreach Tutor

Omega Tutoring is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Outreach Tutor to support children in care, children with special educational needs, and excluded pupils in Chatham and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver 1:1 tuition sessions to students aged 5-16 years old, focusing on English and Maths.
  • Work with students who may have difficulty responding to conventional teaching and may have behaviour and/or SEN difficulties.
  • Provide flexible and adaptable support to meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with the Omega Tutoring team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements:
  • QTS or QTLS preferred, but relevant experience is also considered.
  • Minimum degree level qualification.
  • Experience working with students with SEN.
  • Highly motivated and focused on achieving the best for every student.
  • A positive attitude and desire to make learning fun.
  • Right to Work in the UK and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate.
