About the Role

Lampton Leisure is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Lifeguard Trainee. As a Lifeguard Trainee, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our customers while they enjoy our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the pool area to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all customers
• Carry out regular pool testing and health and safety checks
• Direct and manage customer behavior to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment
• Undertake daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the pool area is clean and safe
• Assist with daily operations, including set-ups, take-downs, and changeovers
• Support customer flow and manage waiting times

Requirements

• Strong swimming skills and ability to pass a swim assessment
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service
