Job Overview

TPF Recruitment is excited to represent a distinguished firm of Chartered Accountants. We are in search of a proactive Audit Senior to become part of this thriving and expanding practice on a permanent, full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute audits following established protocols, with support from senior colleagues as necessary.
  • Create detailed audit strategies, anticipating potential obstacles.
  • Assign tasks to junior staff and provide clear guidance.
  • Oversee project timelines to ensure adherence to budgets and deadlines.
  • Review and endorse audit sections prior to submission for senior evaluation.
  • Assist in the preparation or review of financial statements.
  • Summarize critical client issues and account details for senior team assessment.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior personnel, offering comprehensive support and training as needed.
  • Assess staff performance, delivering feedback and completing audit review evaluations post-project.


Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA qualification, nearly qualified with relevant practice experience.
  • 2-3 years of auditing experience.
  • Strong skills in audit analysis and planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, and ideally CaseWare (accounts and audit).
  • Prior experience in supervising or mentoring junior team members.
  • Current technical knowledge, including recent developments in accounting standards.
  • Familiarity with IFRS, ISA, US GAAP & GAAS preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Organized and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
