We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in Liverpool. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those in mainstream schools.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one and group support to students who require additional help. You will work closely with the class teacher to implement tailored learning plans and strategies to benefit the students. Your role will also involve creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, supporting students with their academic, social, and emotional development, and assisting with personal care and mobility support if necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN and those in mainstream schools.
  • Assist the class teacher in developing and implementing learning plans and strategies.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Assist with personal care and mobility support if necessary.
Requirements:
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to apply).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant (desired but not essential).
  • Experience working with children with SEN (if applying for SEN role).
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting students with SEN.
