Job Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Business Lecturer to join our team at Elizabeth School of London. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across a range of programs within a Higher Education setting.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching and Learning: Provide high-quality teaching and learning across a range of programs, particularly Foundation year in Business and Accounting.
- Tutoring: Tutor students, offering appropriate support to enable them to achieve their goals and progress to positive destinations.
- Course Development: Contribute to the development and continual improvement of courses, coordinating effectively with both staff and students.
- Module Development: Develop module materials for each of the modules being undertaken.
- Assessment and Feedback: Provide/Deliver/Facilitate subject-specific sessions in line with the Learning Outcomes and syllabuses of modules, deploy assessments appropriately, and set out measures to understand the learning needs of students on their modules.
- Student Support: Support students with timely formative feedback to the extent prescribed by each of the program specifications, mark and provide summative feedback within the prescribed deadline published by the Assessment Team.
- Research and Development: Contribute to the Business School's Research Department at the Manchester campus.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Master's degree and/or a PhD in the relevant area, teaching qualifications: PGCHE, MA in HE Practice, or FHEA, etc.
- Experience: Previous lecturing experience for similar courses at HEI level, work in line with Blackboard / VLEs, MS Teams / Zoom.
- Competencies: Competence and experience in the subjects of statistics, ICT, accounting, finance, and economics.
