Job Summary:

Magnus James is seeking a highly organized and diligent Property Manager to join their team in a leading independent lettings agency. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing scheduled repairs and reactive maintenance, conducting mid-term inspections, and organizing check-outs and inventories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate maintenance and repair activities to ensure timely completion and minimal disruption to tenants.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure properties are being maintained to a high standard and identify any potential issues.
  • Organize and conduct check-outs and inventories to ensure accurate records and minimize disputes.
  • Coordinate with contractors, obtain quotations, and manage works orders and invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with property regulations, including EICR's, gas safety, and EPC certifications.
  • Manage deposit disputes and resolve issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Organize and maintain accurate records of tenancy paperwork, including section notices and rental reviews.
  • Support landlords with rental reviews and tenancy renewals, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in lettings or property management is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and other relevant software.
