  • Pupil Progress and Attainment: Accurately assess, record, and monitor pupil progress and attainment, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Inclusive Practice: Demonstrate a deep understanding of inclusive practice, including the needs of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and provide tailored support to ensure their inclusion.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and students, fostering a collaborative and supportive community.

Requirements:

  • Right to Work in the UK: Hold a valid right to work in the UK.
  • UK Teaching Experience: Possess previous experience teaching within a UK educational setting.
  • Primary National Curriculum Knowledge: Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum, particularly in KS1.
  • Enhanced DBS Check: Hold a valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
  • QTS: Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building effective relationships with colleagues, parents, and students.
  • Safeguarding and Welfare: Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • SEND Experience: Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is highly desirable.
