At Ormond Terrace Dental, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dental services in a welcoming atmosphere. Our dedicated team is committed to providing top-notch care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage in TCO functions, including overseeing the patient experience, managing social media interactions, and coordinating treatment plans.
- Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures, including advanced surgeries.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure patient comfort throughout their dental visits.
- Set up and organize the treatment area for each patient and their specific procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of all tools and surfaces to meet health standards.
- Safely dispose of clinical waste and sharps.
- Provide clinical support under the guidance of the Dentist or Specialist.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the stock nurse regarding any shortages.
- Adhere to practice policies and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Foster positive working relationships within the dental team.
- Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as per GDC guidelines.
- Previous experience in TCO roles is advantageous.
- Empathetic demeanor with excellent listening abilities.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Motivated, friendly, adaptable, punctual, and organized.
- Qualified in Dental Nursing – NEBDN or NVQ.
- Registered with the General Dental Council.
- Post-qualification experience is preferred.
- Proficient in IT; familiarity with SOE practice management software is a plus.
