Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated individual with a background in youth social prescribing or significant experience in youth services to contribute to the INSPYRE (Increasing Social Prescribing Youth Referrals) initiative, along with other relevant youth social prescribing projects as required.

The successful candidate will support the INSPYRE project by:

  • Working remotely with young individuals on CAMHS waiting lists to facilitate access to social prescribing activities.
  • Participating in various research activities.

In addition to prior experience in youth social prescribing, community navigation, or youth work, applicants should possess strong interpersonal, communication, teamwork, organizational, and evaluative skills, along with an understanding of the social determinants of health.

Specific Role Requirements:

  • A satisfactory DBS check is necessary for this position.
  • We are open to flexible working arrangements, including part-time and job share options.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have prior experience (paid or voluntary) in Youth Work, Social Work, Social Prescribing, Link Working, Community Connecting, or Care Navigation, along with an undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as Science, Social Science, or Humanities. The successful applicant will excel in teamwork, demonstrate a flexible and creative approach when engaging with young people, and possess excellent administrative capabilities.
