Job Title: Fabric Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fabric Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Kingston Barnes Ltd. As a Fabric Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of domestic and commercial premises throughout the South West.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned works, such as bathroom renovations and insurance works, in domestic and light commercial properties.
  • Carry out reactive repairs, including emergency call-outs to building fabric, as required.
  • Liaise with the helpdesk to complete work orders and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Complete relevant paperwork and report diligently, including customer sign-off after each job.
  • Support the line manager/supervisor with quoting extra works and ensuring jobs stay on specification.
  • Work in a customer-focused environment where quality and service are paramount.
  • Ensure every task is carried out to the highest standard of workmanship and safety.
Requirements:
  • Carpentry skills
  • Painting and decorating skills
  • Kitchen and bathroom fitting skills
  • Tiling skills
  • Basic plaster repairs skills
  • Basic plumbing skills
  • Basic electrical skills/knowledge
