Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled 5 Axis CNC Machinist for a full-time, permanent role. The successful candidate will be tasked with setting up, programming, and operating CNC machinery to ensure the production of high-quality components that meet specified standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture components within precise tolerances and specifications.
  • Work with a diverse range of materials, including Non-Ferrous metals, Aluminium, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Titanium.
  • Utilize various measuring instruments such as micrometers, verniers, plug gauges, screw plugs, and ring gauges to ensure accuracy.
  • Enhance your skill set by learning and training on additional machining processes.

Candidate Profile:

  • Must be a time-served CNC Machinist with proven experience in 5 axis machining.
  • Programming skills are considered an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a CNC Machining or Industrial Engineering environment is essential.
  • A willingness to learn, share knowledge, and mentor others is required.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet customer demands.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive annual salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000.
  • Standard working hours of 37 hours per week, with an initial day shift followed by a rotating shift pattern.
  • Pension scheme.
  • 25 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
  • Paid overtime opportunities.
