Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Anchor Hanover. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Deputise for the Chef Manager and manage all aspects of catering, ensuring a seamless service.
- Supervise catering assistants on shift, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain compliance with food safety and health & safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Minimise waste and use equipment correctly, promoting sustainability and efficiency.
- Intermediate or level 3 food hygiene certificate with Cater Craft or similar award.
- Health & safety legislation knowledge, including COSHH and food safety standards.
- Proven chef and people management experience, with a track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Basic knowledge of dietary requirements for older people, with a focus on providing tailored meals.
- Safe use of kitchen equipment, including knives, with a focus on efficiency and safety.
- Able to negotiate, influence, and prioritise activities, with a focus on delivering results.
- Able to work in a pressured environment, producing high-quality meals based on implemented menus.
- Flexible, innovative, and able to work as part of a team and individually, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
