Director of Secondary Maths

Job Summary:

We are seeking a visionary Director of Secondary Maths to join our growing and improving group of secondary schools and help us realise our ambitious vision for education.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for raising standards in Maths by delivering strategic curriculum leadership, high-quality CPD, and targeted support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a Maths curriculum that aligns with the trust's vision and values.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to Maths teachers to ensure a consistent and high-quality approach to teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Collaborate with other subject leaders to develop and align curricula across all secondary schools in the trust.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Maths education across the trust.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking an educational leader who:

  • Has a proven track record of raising standards in secondary education, particularly in Maths.
  • Is passionate about Maths education and has a deep understanding of the curriculum.
  • Has excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Is able to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and other stakeholders.
