Automotive Finance Broker Support Specialist

We are seeking a professional and experienced Broker Support Specialist to join our team at The Solution Automotive Limited.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising between broker partners and internal company departments to resolve operational issues in a timely manner. This includes ensuring that proposals move through the journey as smoothly as possible and maximising the amount of business that we write with the broker network.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide sales-related interaction with brokers, proposing business and working with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Assist with issues that may occur with proposing new business.
- Be a subject matter expert for the Point of Sale system and train broker personnel in its use.
- Ensure system changes and enhancements are communicated and understood by brokers.
- Appeal underwriting decisions on behalf of brokers to the Underwriting Team.
- Assist brokers with payout queries to ensure prompt payment for individual agreements.
- Work with broker/customer service departments to resolve complaints and be a liaison between the two parties when required.
- Be fully conversant with policies and procedures and use that knowledge to assist with managing potential issues.
- Support the National Business Development Manager in building and maintaining strong business relationships with broker personnel.
- Monitor and report on key performance areas via management systems.
- Attend broker review meetings to analyse performance and operational issues.
- Identify and develop new business channels and make suitable sales recommendations to the National Business Development Manager.
- Educated to at least A level standard or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of retail finance products.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- The ability to train individuals and groups.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and a high degree of self-motivation and time management skills.
- A competitive salary between £30-£35k depending on experience.
- A company car or cash equivalent.
