Academic Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at CV Library. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our residential development projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing QA Policies and Procedures: Establish and implement QA policies, procedures, and standards that align with company best practices.
- Quality Planning: Develop quality plans for construction projects, including defining quality criteria, inspection and testing protocols, and quality assurance checkpoints.
- Quality Control: Oversee the execution of quality control processes throughout the construction project lifecycle, including monitoring workmanship, materials, and compliance with specifications.
- Evaluating and Selecting Vendors: Evaluate and select reliable vendors and suppliers of construction materials and equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
- Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to construction teams on quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Risk Management: Identify potential quality risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, such as conducting risk assessments, implementing preventive measures, and addressing issues promptly.
- Quality Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality reviews of construction activities, processes, and deliverables to verify compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.
- Document Control: Manage documentation related to quality assurance activities, including maintaining records of inspections, test results, non-conformities, corrective actions, and quality assurance reports.
- Non-Conformance Management: Investigate non-conformities, defects, and quality issues, and lead efforts to implement corrective and preventive actions to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, regulations, and industry certifications applicable to construction projects.
- Extensive experience operating in a QA role in the Construction industry, ideally with a Residential Developer / Main Contractor with a residential element.
- Ability to produce Quality Management Plans and enforce them.
We offer a competitive salary of between £60,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus a package including car allowance, pension, healthcare, 26+ days annual leave, and other benefits.
