Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our team at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and associated duties under the direction and supervision of registered professionals
- Support and assist healthcare professionals in the delivery of quality patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and visitors, providing information and support as needed
- Contribute to the reporting, handover, and documentation of patient care
- Participate in audit and quality improvement initiatives
- Assist with the preparation of patients for treatment, investigations, or procedures
- Keep the clinical area clean and tidy, maintaining a safe environment
- Adhere to Trust infection control procedures and demonstrate an understanding of cross-infection
- GCSE level A-C in English and Maths or equivalent
- Experience working as part of a team and delivering care in a healthcare or people-centred environment
- Good written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
- Able to work to agreed levels of competency and prioritise workload
