Job Title: Handy Person - Buildings and Facilities Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Handy Person to join our team at Nicholas Associates. As a Handy Person, you will be responsible for maintaining the building and facilities of our manufacturing plant, ensuring that all electrical, heating, and plumbing systems are functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general facilities electrical work, including lighting and power systems
  • Assist with heating and ventilation, boilers, and basic plumbing
  • Conduct building fabric maintenance, including roof repairs and guttering
  • Work closely with the Facilities Maintenance Manager to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently

Requirements:

  • Electrical qualification (desirable)
  • Experience working with lighting/power, heating/boilers, basic plumbing, and building fabric maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary up to £45,000
  • Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with 1 weekend in every 4
