The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Marine Engineer to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As a Marine Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of diesel marine products, including inboard and outboard engines. You will be responsible for servicing, inspection, maintenance, and diagnostics of these products.

Job Responsibilities
  • Carry out servicing, inspection, maintenance, and diagnostics of diesel marine products
  • Complete documentation correctly and in a timely manner
  • Ensure the scope and timing of assigned tasks are understood, completed as per requirements, and in accordance with relevant working procedures
  • Work in accordance with current quality procedures and advise any errors or variances to the Aftersales Support Manager
  • Maintain all tools and equipment in a clean and usable condition; return tools and equipment to the appropriate storage area(s) when not being used
Preferred Skills
  • General knowledge of diesel engines and a background in the sale and managing of spare parts, preferably in the marine sector
  • Experience in Parts Sales, ideally in the marine sector
  • Marine parts experience
  • Engine knowledge
Personal Attributes

We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated, able to work independently, and has excellent communication skills. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a strong attention to detail.
