About the RoleThis is a Maternity Cover FTC for 12 months, providing an exciting opportunity to join the Product Development department as a NPD Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting senior roles in the creative conceptualization and day-to-day development of products, including research, data analysis, and collaboration with artists and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end NPD process for Accessories and Tools, from inception to launch, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
- Apply fashion sensibility and market trends to create top-tier makeup and fashion bags that align with project purpose and price points.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including partnership teams, to ensure creative processes stay on track and teams have clarity on needs and next steps.
- Work closely with Gifting and TOA teams on strategy and holiday planning.
- Create design briefs for creative services and suppliers, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with artists and suppliers to define innovation and product marketing hooks, with a customer and industry expert lens.
- Manage supplier relationships and collaborate with procurement to ensure best COGs.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting development challenges effectively.
- Work cross-functionally to drive ideas from conception to execution, partnering with global brand marketing to collaborate on presentation decks.
- Regularly interface with Supply Chain teams to manage project logistics and flag issues appropriately.
- Collaborate with regulatory and quality teams to ensure all necessary documentation is received and testing protocols are followed.
- Prepare NPD information for forecasting decks and innovation slides for founder presentations.
- Work closely with the Pro-Artist Team to co-create ranges and manage approval processes.
- Travel as needed to meet suppliers and conduct trend research.
- Lead all accessories and tools supplier relationships, presenting updates to the business and maintaining a product/material innovation library.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced NPD Manager with a passion for beauty and fashion. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Beauty/Fashion Accessories product development, as well as supply chain experience in APAC and EU. Strong interpersonal skills, inclusive management style, and excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, eloquent, and dedicated team player with a strong eye for colour and fashion sense. Experience with sales data and analysis, as well as skills using Microsoft programmes such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, are also required.
