Job Title: Java Microservices Team Lead

Job Type: Contract, Long-term

Location: London, Hybrid (3x a week)

Salary: Up to £500 a day Inside IR35

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Java Microservices Team Lead to join our team at Maclean Moore. As a Java Microservices Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a global development team in the delivery of restful microservices components, utilizing technologies such as Core Java, Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring LDAP, Jenkins pipeline, Maven, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, Swagger API, Oracle DB, GIT, and Junit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a global development team in the delivery of restful microservices components.
  • Develop and implement microservices architecture using Core Java, Java 8, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies.
  • Design and develop custom adapters for Ping Federate and SiteMinder authentication schemes.
  • Develop login modules for private banking and internet-facing applications.
  • Implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions.
  • Facilitate code review processes and provide constructive feedback to uphold high-quality standards and foster team growth.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in leading a global development team in the delivery of restful microservices components.
  • Strong knowledge of Core Java, Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring LDAP, Jenkins pipeline, Maven, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, Swagger API, Oracle DB, GIT, and Junit.
  • Experience in developing custom adapters for Ping Federate and SiteMinder authentication schemes.
  • Experience in developing login modules for private banking and internet-facing applications.
  • Experience in implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
