Linux Security and Networking Product Development

This innovative R&D team at ECM Selection works on endpoint software security products utilizing hardware-assisted virtualization technologies. Their products are used by millions of users worldwide, while others remain internal research projects. In this role, you will design and develop new features and products, provide maintenance and support for existing code, and introduce new security algorithms. Code is predominantly written in C and C++ and targets the Linux operating system, with some crossover with projects targeting Windows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new features and products
  • Provide maintenance and support for existing code
  • Introduce new security algorithms
  • Improve performance and write unit and automated tests
  • Fix security vulnerabilities
Requirements:
  • Excellent programming experience in C/C++
  • Good practical knowledge developing for User-mode Linux (UML)
  • Understanding of public key infrastructure (PKI) and other uses of cryptography
  • Understanding of the OSI network model, especially the TCP/IP protocols
Desirable Skills:
  • Linux kernel development
  • The Yocto Project
  • x86-64 architecture
  • Trusted Platform Modules (TPM)
