Job Summary:

iO Associates is partnering with a major global banking group to find an experienced security solution architect. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end solution design and deliver architecture design documents in line with business requirements, strategies, principles, standards, and patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure solutions for the banking group's IT infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain architecture design documents, including functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Present solutions to design authorities and senior leadership stakeholders.
  • Manage risk and dependency in projects, ensuring secure and efficient solutions.

Requirements:

  • Extensive cybersecurity expertise in security operations, threat and vulnerability management, identity and access management, cryptography, infrastructure, network, application, data, and cloud.
  • Experience in operational and transformation cybersecurity roles, or a clear understanding of both perspectives.
  • Experience working in large-scale IT transformation programs.

Technical Experience:

  • Proficiency in BizzDesign, Archi, or generic UML visualization tools for high-level designs.
  • High proficiency in Jira for project and task management.
  • Working proficiency in Confluence for documentation.
  • Leadership and teamwork experience.
  • Proven experience managing risk in projects and dependency management.

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Masters or doctorate degree in cybersecurity, computer science, software engineering, or related field.
  • CISSP/CISM certification or other broad cybersecurity industry-recognized certificate.
  • SABSA or TOGAF certified preferred.
