Oaklands Global is in search of a proficient and seasoned Air Traffic Control Operations Manager to become a vital part of our client's innovative team. This crucial position requires outstanding managerial and organizational skills to guarantee the smooth and effective functioning of our Air Traffic Services unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership : Direct the daily functions of the Air Traffic Services team, ensuring the provision of safe, efficient, and high-quality air traffic services for all stakeholders. Deliver robust leadership throughout the unit, overseeing both team and individual performance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with air traffic control staff, upper management, and various stakeholders to foster effective communication and teamwork.
  • Procedure Development : Create and enforce protocols to uphold superior professional standards across all operational aspects.
  • Operational Responsibilities : As a fully qualified and licensed Air Traffic Control Officer (ATCO), maintain at least one Unit Endorsement while fulfilling ATCO duties.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in managing Air Traffic Services
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Comprehensive understanding of airport operations and commercial insight
  • Profound knowledge of air traffic control protocols, regulations, and safety measures
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities for making sound decisions in high-pressure situations
  • Fully qualified in Safety Management Systems (SMS)
  • Holder of a UK ATCO Licence
  • At least 5 years of operational experience, including a minimum of 3 years at a UK airport
