A GLIMPSE INTO YOUR ROLE
You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to operating CNC machinery for the production of various turbine components. Your responsibilities will include adhering to work instructions and meeting the company's operational standards.

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS WILL INCLUDE:

  • Utilizing your expertise in CNC machine setup and operation to enhance production quality.
  • Ensuring the safe arrangement of machinery and loading materials appropriately.
  • Interpreting engineering drawings and CMM readouts to perform diverse machining tasks.
  • Inspecting production output to confirm product quality before advancing to subsequent production stages.
  • Conducting first principal gauging and CMM measurements to ensure component conformity by adjusting various parameters.
  • Maintaining accurate records of machine operations and performance.
  • Regularly assessing machinery for mechanical and safety concerns.
  • Adapting to a flexible work schedule to meet production demands during peak periods.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • A completed apprenticeship or a level 3 NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in CNC machining.
  • Familiarity with controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Mazatrol, Heidenhain, and Okuma is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to work and continuous improvement.
  • A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
