Role Responsibilities

As a Lead Field Engineer for Boskalis Subsea Services, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance to various teams, ensuring effective planning, preparation, and execution of mobilizations and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary duties will encompass:

Onshore Responsibilities:

Overseeing, mentoring, and guiding Field Engineers. Facilitating communication within the Field Engineer team to support improvements and initiatives. Serving as the primary contact for Field Engineers requiring technical assistance. Advocating for and implementing positive changes across the fleet. Identifying training needs within the team. Assisting in maintaining vessel service documentation and Field Engineer records. Ensuring adherence to the Way of Working and NINA processes during mobilization planning. Providing engineering support to the operations department as needed. Performing additional tasks as assigned by management.

Mobilization Responsibilities:

Leading mobilization and demobilization efforts to ensure safe and efficient operations. Planning and overseeing vessel activations and deactivations. Participating in vessel mobilization activities. Mentoring junior engineers to uphold high engineering standards.

Project Engineering Duties:

The Lead Field Engineer will also assume the role of Senior Project Engineer during offshore project phases.

Qualifications

You are well-suited for the Lead Field Engineer position if you possess:

An engineering qualification (HNC or higher) or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5 years in Field Engineer/Project Engineer roles. At least 3 years of offshore supervisory experience. Relevant safety certifications. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
