Job Summary:

Morgan King Construction is seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join their team in the North West region. As a key member of the Mechanical and Electrical department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas appliances in residential and commercial properties, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough gas safety checks and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Provide expert advice on energy efficiency and safety measures to clients, including recommendations for gas appliance installation and maintenance.
  • Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and provide timely solutions to resolve gas-related issues.
  • Collaborate with the Mechanical and Electrical team to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality results.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in gas systems installation, maintenance, and repair, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles and safety protocols.
  • Commercial gas qualifications and experience with heat pump installation are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Additional Skills:

  • Commercial driving experience for equipment transport is a plus.
  • Carpentry skills for fitting gas appliances are also beneficial.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Minimum 40 hours per week
