The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Oxford. As a key member of our electrical engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems for a variety of clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough project surveys and feasibility studies to identify electrical system requirements.
- Design and develop electrical systems, including specifications and technical documentation.
- Oversee on-site work and manage electrical installations to ensure high-quality results.
- Manage contract administration and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Mentor and support junior team members to develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years' experience in building services design, with a focus on electrical systems.
- Proven experience in managing and mentoring team members.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design software, including AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Own transport and a valid driving license.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with design and modeling software (training provided).
- Knowledge of Revit is a plus.
